How to save money on a daily basis when you are a student?
Want a good deal?
If you are at the University, in a big school or you follow a BTS-style training, you must surely have a student card .
The student card allows you to have discounts in many places.
As a former student, I will show you what these advantages are.
I offer you a small panel of the different places in which you can benefit from interesting reductions.
Contents
You have prices or even free access to cultural places such as museums , the theatres and the cinemas (notably at the MK2 Library).
You can have discounts for subscribing to certain newspapers or for accessing certain music platforms (Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music...).
Want to borrow a book? Your student card also makes your life easier.
Culture is offered to you at a reduced price (or even free) so take advantage of it!
Ok it's not gastronomy, but it's not necessarily negligible:some fast foods (Burger King, KFC, McDo...) give you a free burger or offer you a discount.
Just present your student card. For example, McDo gives you a discount on a sandwich.
You can also get discounts at certain places to go out such as bars and the restaurants .
The CROUS is an organization that helps students in many areas!
They offer you university restaurants where you can have a hearty lunch for less than 5 €. All the explanations are here. Do not deprive yourself!
On presentation of your student card (for any university, and otherwise, it depends on the school), you can have discounts on computer software, on computers and Ipods.
You can take advantage of promotions for the printing and binding of your school work (folders, dissertations, etc.).
Especially at Apple , and considering the price of their products, it's not nothing! But it also works for Microsoft, Dell or even HP.
You can also get reduced rates in many gyms, swimming pools, ice rinks...
Find out before you register!
Not all students roll in gold.
So I'm sure I'm not the only one to say that you have to take advantage of student benefits while there's still time. It really feels good to the bank account.
Last year, just by counting my cinema reductions, telephone subscription, ice rink, I made more than 60 € in savings just taking out my card.
Over 1 year, it still makes huge benefits.
While you live in Nantes, Paris, Marseille, Reims, Dijon, Cambrai, Montpellier, Lille, Toulouse... there is certainly an advantage that concerns you!
So do like me, leave your student card in the wallet.
That way, you're sure never to miss all the discounts offered to you everywhere!
And if you go abroad, think about your ISIC card. It is a student card also valid abroad which offers a lot of advantages.
