We all know the doors that close by themselves during a move.
It's really not practical and it wastes a lot of time when you take the boxes down...
Fortunately, there is a very simple trick to prevent them from closing every time.
All you need is a rubber band:
1. Wrap a rubber band around the inside handle.
2. Cross the elastic as in the photo.
3. Pass the other end of the elastic around the outside handle.
4. Adjust the elastic so that it wedges the latch securely.
There you go, your door won't close on its own anymore :-)
Very practical when you have your arms full of boxes!
