Public transport in the Paris region will be free on New Year's Eve to facilitate passenger movements.
Like last year, this operation was repeated; for the greatest pleasure of users and it is very practical!
Buses, metro, RER and trams will be free from December 31, 2012 at 5 p.m. untilJanuary 1, 2013 at noon.
The network will operate normally until 2:15 a.m. .
After 2:15 a.m., the network will idle with only a certain number of lines and stations open.
The Noctambus bus network will be open from midnight at 5:30 a.m. morning.
The RATP initiative should allow you to leave your car at rest. Moral of the story:if you can avoid taking your car on New Year's Eve, you will enjoy the party without taking any risks, if not, don't forget to appoint a party captain...
Do you appreciate this initiative? It's here, in the comments, that you tell us!
Taking advantage of free public transport for Ile-de-France residents is a good plan not to be missed.
First reason :you don't need to have seen road safety campaigns to know that drunk driving kills.
Second reason :don't rely too much on taxis to take you home that evening, unless you have already booked one .
Finally, by using public transport, you will return safe and sound and will not have spent an astronomical sum.
You just have to enjoy the evening, so HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013 ! Best wishes from the How To Save team.
