The pinnacle of cute? That's an easy one for moms:babies of course! Do you turn your head towards every passing pram? Can't take your eyes off those clouds of babies? Very well. Babies love a little attention. Or what can I say, a little? Those little sprouts are built to attract attention! With screeching, a smelly poo diaper… but of course also the sweetest smile in the world. If we are to believe DreamWorks' latest 'baby', the movie The Boss Baby, those little ones are very fond of love and attention. And maybe a little less cute than they look. Do you like to have children? Then I hope your clock is still ticking after seeing this movie 😉 .

Older siblings may attest. As soon as the next child is on the way, you as the oldest should really take a step back. Bye, attention! Because who can resist that new little one? Babies are just the cutest thing there is, right? At least that's how Tim feels, who gets a new brother in The Boss Baby. But this little brother is not just any baby. He wears a suit, and can even talk. Why? The principle of this film is simple:there is a limited amount of love in the world. According to the babies, it is there for one clear purpose:themselves. But instead of people projecting all their love onto the little ones, it's being distributed! So a bad thing, in baby-land.
It is therefore a crisis. baby crisis. At least according to the bossy infant in the movie The Boss Baby. Because:babies don't get as much love as they used to! Pets in particular are a thorn in his side. And most importantly, the worst of the worst:puppies. With their big eyes and fluffy fur, they steal all that human love. But what about the babies? They can't just let that happen, can they? Precisely. And that's why The Boss Baby springs into action.

If you think your baby is dominating your life, then you don't know The Boss Baby yet. He's not just any baby:he's a baby on a mission. Namely, reclaiming love – for little ones. And not for small dogs, because he can shoot them. The Boss Baby soon discovers that his peers think otherwise. Time for a crash course, to make those softies a little harder.
The Boss Baby is so busy with his mission that his big brother soon finds out what he's up to. That was not the intention! On the other hand, brother dear is also soon done with that little owner. He is therefore happy to participate in his mission. The sooner that creeper disappears again. From Tim's perspective you discover – with a good wink – what the impact is of the arrival of a little brother or sister. And that's not always fun! Their parents meanwhile are just over the moon; what is actually a mission, in their eyes, is 'playing nice together'. This mom and dad also see their sprouts a little rosier than they actually are.

The Boss Baby hits theaters April 19 in 2D and 3D. You can also choose whether you want the English or Dutch version. So the little ones can come along! Although they could just come up with weird ideas through this script. A real family film, which comes from the same makers as Shrek. The wonderful humor in the films is therefore comparable.
Nice to know:the voice of The Boss Baby is voiced in the Dutch version by Guido Weijers. Who knows how to wake up the laughing muscles not only on stage, but also as a voice actor! The voice of the older brother is that of Stijn van der Plas. Buddy Vedder and Dionne Slagter are also part of the (vocal) party.
