We owe the project to the architectural firm Tall Arquitectos. Located on the side of a cliff on two floors, the restaurant called “Biré Bitori” or “Copper Canyon Cocktail Bar” will be suspended 246 meters above the ground. The foundations will be in rock, but three quarters of the place will literally be in the void and will overlook the Basaseachi waterfall and the Copper canyon, in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains.
According to Le Figaro, it will be designed on two levels:on the first, a restaurant, with, in the center of the room, a glass floor to see the landscape seen from above. On the second, an observation terrace which will give a view of the restaurant and on which it will be possible to have a drink with your head in the stars, as well as a swimming pool, to do a few lengths between two cocktails.
Also according to Le Figaro, the restaurant, run by chef Maria Andrea Payne, will offer dishes based on local products, and the furniture will come from artisans in the region, with white parasols to avoid sunburn. Eh yes ! The architects have really thought of everything! The tables will be arranged along the glass windows, so that they can admire the view and that the glass floor, in the center, can be accessible to the more adventurous who are not afraid of heights and who want to have this feeling of walk in the void. An exceptional dinner, we tell you!
