That's it, September is here, and with it back to work (if it wasn't already the case). Already want to go on vacation? It's quite normal! According to a survey carried out by the Skyscanner flight comparator site, nearly 42% of French people admit to thinking about their next trip so that the start of the school year is smoother. And to help us project ourselves, the site has developed Facescanner, a tool which, based on an image, advises us on a next vacation destination.
But then, how does it work? Just go to the dedicated platform (accessible from a computer or smartphone) and take or download a self-portrait. Facescanner is a facial recognition software that studies micro-facial expressions such as the size of the pupils, the position of the eyebrows, eyelids and lips to calculate our level of happiness, curiosity and fear. From these results, the tool offers an ideal destination, with a short topo on the city + a link to buy plane tickets via Skyscanner (let's be crazy!).
We tested it, it's very amusing and even if it's absolutely not scientific (the results change depending on whether we smile in the photo or not, for example), it has the merit of making us think of destinations that we might not have considered… So, when is the next vacation?!
