We've all come across a bad surprise when arriving in a rental found on Airbnb:the double bed has turned into a single bed, or the huge bathroom is actually very small (it's all a matter of plug of sight…). The site has understood it well, the tenants have had enough! As a result, to thwart potential renters-a-little-liars, it will in the future offer a virtual reality system for users.
There was a time when when we left to travel to the other end of the Earth, we did not really know where we were going to land, and when we landed in a hotel close to what we expected, it was sometimes a tourist trap... Airbnb has already revolutionized the world of travel, and today rental between individuals is entering a new era, where virtual reality "will be able to allow people to enter their future rental or a city, while knowing what to expect […] without leaving the comfort of their own home. “Thus, we can “walk around virtually” in an apartment before validating the rental, just to be aware of the size of the rooms and to see (almost) for real the furniture and other elements of the place. The only condition:to have a compatible smartphone or a virtual reality headset. For the moment, Airbnb has not announced a launch date for this new feature, but we can't wait to see it land!
