Comino Swim Run
The tiny and beautiful Comino was once a pirate island. Today it is known for the beautiful Blue Lagoon, where the seawater is bluer than bluer. On September 21, 2021, this island will be the setting for the Comino Swim Run. During the event, which will be organized for the fourth time this year, you will always swim and run part of the course. The swimming distance is two kilometers and you run a total of eight kilometers. Whether you are an experienced athlete or a novice looking for a great challenge:everyone can participate!
Rolex Middle Sea Race
The world-famous Rolex Middle Sea Race starts on October 23, 2021. More than eighty sailing yachts leave the beautiful Grand Harbor in Valletta at 11 am. This start is a magnificent spectacle. The route, known as one of the most beautiful in the world, has a distance of 606 nautical miles (1122 kilometers). The sailing yachts will be back in Malta about two days later.
Malta Marathon
On March 6, 2022, it's time again for the annual Malta Marathon. With the spring sun on your face you can run a full or half marathon. The route starts in Mdina and ends in Sliema. On the way you run through historic areas and you have the most beautiful views. Would you rather take the time to take in all the beauty around you? Then go for the Walkathon. You follow the same route as the half marathon, but at a walking pace.
XTERRA Triathlon
The XTERRA Triathlon will take place on October 23, 2021. Triathletes swim, cycle and run a 41.5 kilometer route along the steep cliffs in the beautiful Majjistral Natural Park. The young sports enthusiasts have also been thought of:on October 24, 2021, XTERRA is organizing a kids run of 6 kilometers.
