Read quickly all about the great hotspot Wok in Vuur en Vlam.
Restaurant Wok in Vuur en Vlam specializes in Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The concept of wok cooking is very common there. The intended ingredients are placed in the wok and stir-fried for a few minutes over high heat. As a result, all vitamins are optimally preserved and you can enjoy a delicious meal. For stir-frying in this restaurant you can choose from fish, meat and lots of vegetables. You can also opt for the well-known Japanese concept Teppan Yaki.
The staff are trained to help you choose, as it can be difficult to make tasty combinations. In addition, the employees supervise children, so that they can enjoy their visit to the restaurant to the fullest. Thanks to the large selection and the size of the space (600 seats), this wok restaurant is one of the largest and coziest in Twente.
On Monday, April 30, my daughter went to restaurant Wok in Vuur en Vlam with her boyfriend (his birthday) and his family. She wrote a concise report for me and I have now packaged it, including all the enthusiastic stories, in an article, so that it can be followed for you as a reader.
From the outside you can immediately see that it is a large restaurant and that is confirmed after entering. The interior is attractive and yet so that there is enough space for 600 people. The whole look is Asian which fits the name perfectly. Inside is a large tank with koi carp and water turtles.
Before we could go over to eat, we were given a tour by one of the chefs on site. This is due to the fact that I am not allowed to eat peanuts and I am also allergic to pineapple. All food was explained, so I knew exactly what I could and couldn't eat (very handy and also really good service!). After the explanation we were allowed to start with unlimited wok or actually eat.
There is an enormous amount of choice:as a sushi lover, you will certainly enjoy yourself here. Prefer a pizza in between? That too is possible. You can also point out anything and everything and it will be prepared for you on the spot. Very nice to see how it all works. Because they are all small portions, you can taste anything and everything, even things that are not so obvious, such as kangaroo meat.
The management and service are great:every time your plate is empty, it is removed and you can scoop up new food with a clean plate. The only thing you keep with you is your cutlery. Although you can grab your own drinks such as coffee, tea and chocolate milk, you will also be asked at the table if you would like something to drink.
The concept of packing your own food is great fun and luckily this has also been taken into account in the design. You don't get in each other's way, there is plenty of space between the tables and the corner where the food is. This creates peace of mind and you are not really disturbed while eating at the table.
Restaurant Wok in Vuur en Vlam is also particularly child-friendly. Not only do they have a special price for children, there is also a children's cinema and children's playground. Ideal, therefore, to be able to enjoy unlimited food and drinks here undisturbed, while the children can also have fun. In addition, there is a pizza oven, an ice cream machine and a chocolate fountain, all things that make the food extra attractive for children.
In addition to real main courses, there is also a large choice of desserts. The high chocolate fountain is an eye-catcher in itself and a must for chocolate lovers. The same, of course, applies to the ice cream machine. You can really enjoy yourself here and create your own desserts.
The toilets are neat and clean, a good indicator of whether a restaurant is working hygienically.
Due to the wide range on offer, you don't really know where to start at the beginning. And to be honest, we really ate a lot. From sushi to kangaroo meat, from pizza to homemade desserts.
I can only say that restaurant Wok in Vuur en Vlam gets a big 9.5 and is really worth it. So if you are looking for a delicious restaurant, I can definitely recommend this hotspot in Almelo.
