Tips for preparing your holidays in Asia

When the word "vacation" rhymes with visa, bank and health

First of all, check the expiry date of your passport and whether the country where you have chosen to spend your holidays requires a visa. Once these checks have been made, consider taking out travel insurance if it is not included in your payment card (Visa Premier or MasterCard for example). A few weeks before leaving, contact your bank to make sure you can withdraw money abroad or to provide travelers checks. Finally, last not insignificant element, contact your doctor and find out about any vaccines to take.

Plan your stay in Asia

Whether you are going alone, as a couple, with family or friends, organizing your stay can be a hassle. If you are not a planning pro, let yourself be guided by a travel agency or specialized sites. Whether for an all-inclusive or itinerant stay, all options will be possible. If, on the other hand, you like to organize your own holidays, do not hesitate to search the internet to find a cheap plane ticket and take a look at the travel blogs which are real gold mines.

The essentials to put in my suitcase

In Asia, it is hot all year round. No need, therefore, to weigh down your suitcase with superfluous clothes. Bring only the essentials:your favorite bathing suit, two pretty dresses, one or two shorts, light pants and three t-shirts will do. As for shoes, a pair of sandals and a pair of light closed shoes for physical activities will be more than enough. Remember that the sun is very strong in Asia! Go for SPF 50 sunscreen to protect your skin and pack a hat. In case of rainy season, bring waterproof clothing to avoid being soaked to the bone. Your suitcase is ready. You can jump on the plane!
