Where ? At the Domaine du Taillé, in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park.
Why is it zen? Because this estate is located in a 100 hectare park on a plateau of gentle mountains (500 m maximum altitude), surrounded by scrubland and olive trees. Then, because the family that owns the place created a Zen Buddhist monastery there in the 1970s on the foundations of an old farmhouse. Finally, because the site, halfway between an ashram and a charming hotel, is now entirely dedicated to the serenity of body and mind:yoga, Chinese, Indian or Thai massages, swimming pool natural, local, organic and seasonal catering… We sleep there in chalets, tipi, yurt, or at Villa Alto, a house perched in the shape of a flying saucer all in wood and bay windows, with permanent sunshine and panoramic views.
