Katy Collins lived the nightmare of many women:what was supposed to be the most beautiful day of her life turned into the most unfortunate experience of her life when her partner left her 3 months before the wedding. But rather than feel sorry for herself, the pretty brunette decided to radically change her life:she sold her house and car, quit her job in public relations and went on a tour of Asia! She even created a blog ironically called “Not Wed or Dead” to share what had happened to her and her many travel photos. "Everyone thought I was a bit crazy, mostly because I had never traveled alone before, but that's what I needed. I needed time away from everything and everyone to find myself she writes.
And Katy Collins even thanks her ex-spouse who opened her eyes to her own existence:“I had a good job, a nice house and lived a comfortable life that lacked adventure. Something I hoped at the time that traveling halfway around the world would bring me, and it worked ". Since then, the story of the young woman has been picked up by the international media; an attention that allowed her to become a writer and publish three books on her expeditions (she visited more than 30 countries!) and… to meet the love of her life! She indeed fell in love with John, a journalist who became interested in what she had experienced. She recently announced their marriage and her pregnancy on her blog!
