D-7, D-6, D-5… Whether they are traveling alone or accompanied by their parents, children find it difficult to wait as the summer holidays approach (and so do we!). Air France thus came up with the idea of creating a Pre-Flight Calendar so that parents and children can prepare their next trip together and discover the services of the Kids offer. Thus, the first families traveling on long-haul flights departing from France during the first week of July will receive the Pre-Flight Calendar at home (while stocks last). Presented in the form of a suitcase illustrated by Al Murphy, the calendar will be composed of 7 boxes designed as stopovers around the world and corresponding to the 7 days preceding the trip. Over the days, little travelers will open a new box to discover a surprise and meet 7 emblematic animals of their region:Tom the caribou in North America, Lola the crocodile in South America, Georges the penguin in Antarctica, Raoul the koala in Australia, Charlotte the elephant in Asia, Robert the lion in Africa and Louis the rooster in Europe. Inside each box will be a part of a small wooden airplane to build yourself, as well as a small card presenting some of the many Air France services dedicated to children, such as priority boarding, adapted menus, on-board entertainment, comforter etiquette...
And for those who leave later, Air France has also made available the Pre-Flight Calendar in a digital version to discover on avant-flight.airfrance.fr, with a series of 7 cartoons, tips and tricks for help kids prepare for their trip, activities to do together…
