Under the spell of Tangier #2

Hunt around every corner

Whether traditional or trendy, shopping addresses are legion:fabrics, jewellery, antiques, trinkets, works of art, beauty products... At Las Chicas, a concept store and tea room (52, rue Kacem-Guennoun, Porte de la Kasbah ), there are decorative objects, fashion, essential oils, honey and… T. shirts from the Rock da Kasbah brand! For reinterpreted caftans and djellabah, we push the door of the Treasures of Laure (3, place de la Kasbah), a kind of cave of Ali Baba designed more than twenty years ago by the French Laure Welfing, interior decorator and fashion designer. As for jewelry, you can trust the jewels of Majid (66, rue les Almouhades).

Visit Chefchaouen the blue

About 2 hours by road from Tangier, Chefchaouen, located at an altitude of 600 m, is definitely worth the detour:we walk through its alleys, marveling at each street corner in front of its myriad of houses painted in blue. We stop on the way at the Dardara farm-inn, a little corner of paradise serving succulent home cooking:the tagine of goat with figs, that of rabbit with quinces or goat cheese with local herbs are made from vegetables, meat and milk from the farm (around €10 a dish).
