A 26-year-old Frenchwoman lands the best job in the world

With the proliferation of means of communication, a whole new professional category has emerged, that of dream jobs that offer the possibility of achieving incredible travel experiences. The sailing cruise specialist
Sailsquare shared an extremely rare opportunity in the summer of 2017:to become an "Ocean Trotter", that is to say to test the services offered by the company during a tour of the world which includes, among other things, successive passages through the Mediterranean, the North Sea, the coasts of South America and Southeast Asia. The tempting offer, which was quickly relayed online, unsurprisingly generated considerable interest:more than 3,000 applications from 18 countries were submitted and – COCORICO! – it is a Frenchwoman who finally won the CDI all expenses paid. Twenty-six-year-old Alyzée Joy Montana is a globe-trotter full of creativity:to attract attention, she took an aerial shot in which the bodies of tourists form the message "Sailsquare Hire Me" ("Sailsquare, me") on the sand. Clever!

Reporting on the accessibility of sailing cruises

And her ingenuity did not stop there:the young woman simply decided to send an anchor to the offices of Sailsquare. The message was clear, at least! Maxime Courtaigne, the start-up’s France director, explains:“We didn’t choose Alyzée, she managed to impose herself thanks to her creativity and the originality of her candidacy. His approach brought together all the qualities required for this dream job! ". From April to September 2018, the new recruit will have to promote the accessibility and uniqueness of sailing cruises using high-tech paraphernalia – cameras, drones, microphones, cameras. Alyzée will alternate 2 weeks on land and 2 weeks at sea aboard sumptuous ships such as the old rigs. His adventures will be condensed in the form of a web series
to be found soon on the official Sailsquare website. Alyzée has already set sail for Cuba aboard a catamaran... We wish her good luck!
