Tired of damaging your car's tires when parking?
It's true that the wheels often touch the pavement when you want to park a little too close...

Here's a trick I use to protect my car's tires when I park in front of my house.
My solution is to hang a simple rubber protection on the sidewalk. Watch:
1. I bought a rubber protection like this.
2. I placed the rubber on the top of the sidewalk.
3. I hooked the rubber well by drilling holes in it every 15 cm.
4. I can now easily park as close to the curb as I want without damaging my wheels.
There you go, you now know my trick to protect my wheels, rims and tires when I park in front of my house :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?

Obviously this trick only works if, like me, you are lucky enough to always have the same parking space in front of your house.
Unless you have made a request to your town hall beforehand, be aware that the sidewalks belong to the public domain.
Therefore prohibition to make changes under penalty of fines.
But if you are in a quiet street or even better a private road whose maintenance is not provided by the municipality, you are quiet.
