A few cents to watch a video or search the internet.
This is what the Doneo site offers me. The sums won are then donated to the association of my choice.
Donating to associations, we all know that it is important. But despite the tax reductions granted by the Coluche law, it is necessarily a gesture that costs money!
In any case, that's what I thought until I discovered the Doneo.org site. The site presents itself as " the alternative financing tool for the associative world".
The operation is super simple:you register, and choose the association you want to support, among the 4250 associations present on the site. Then, each of the actions carried out via Doneo brings money to this association.
- Give by seeking. Doneo offers a search engine that redirects to Google. You type your query and access the search results in the same way as if you were on a classic site.
Except that there, it's 0.001 cents for each word typed . Do not laugh ! It's not much, but over a day of research, it can quickly climb!
- Give while viewing. This is by far the most profitable action, without wasting time. Doneo offers advertising videos, which bring in between 0.02 and 0.03 cents .
They last between ten seconds for the shortest and one minute. I generally "watch" about ten of them during the day:each time I leave my office to go to the photocopier or other, I start a video... When I come back, I have a few centimes more credited to the account of the association I have chosen!
- Giving by responding. Doneo gives us the opportunity to respond to paid surveys. It pays well:1€ for each survey , but it is a bit long (it takes between 10 and 20 minutes each time). To be reserved for long rainy weekends when you don't know what to do!
- Give while buying. The site offers a cash-back system, like on a loyalty card. For each purchase made on a partner site via Doneo, a certain percentage is transferred to the association's account. Personally, I have never used this function, except for a request for a school insurance quote, which brought in €2.88 for my association.
- Donate by signing up. Normally, you can register on partner sites, but for the moment, it does not work at all. So we forget!
My advice:Go for it!
I find this site absolutely brilliant in the sense that it allows me to give to an association without spending a penny. I spend my days on the internet (yes, I work for a website!); I might as well make my research profitable…
Personally, I have chosen to support Copains'Copiii, the association that I created with my husband a few years ago, but there are hundreds of others, in all possible and imaginable fields. If you've always wanted to support an association but never really took the time to do so, now is the time to get started!
