Water sports are not for everyone. However, there are two places in Paris where you can have fun kayaking, canoeing, rowing or windsurfing. I tested and I tell you.
Do you like to do water sports but you live in the capital? No soucy, there are also nautical bases in Paris. And the must is that these bases offer free sessions for beginners or experienced. So I let myself be tempted.
I come from the province and I clearly need a change of scenery and nature on the weekend. Finding yourself in the middle of the Bassin de la Villette has become a bit like a refuge for me.
It's quiet, I'm away from it all, hhhuuummm, and I can relax without spending anything.
To be sure not to be disappointed and not to travel for nothing, I book still always a week in advance either by phone or on site from one session to another. But in general, reservations are only useful for rowing.
Don't forget D-Day: your ID, proof of address, 2 photos and a 25m swimming certificate (it's free and you can do it in 10min with the lifeguard in all pools).
