If you haven't got around to it yet, the (partially) free event Amsterdam Light Festival is a must for you. This is an international festival, in which the historic city center of Amsterdam is provided with sculptures, statues and much more, made by light artists. There is a special sailing route along the canals and a walking route. Tip:great for a romantic getaway for just the two of you!

During this spectacular event, the 120-metre-long table is not only used for eating and drinking, but at the same time forms the stage for the varied program . A nice weekend tip for children:go to 'Allemaal Bones' of the university museum in Utrecht together. Bones are central and children are allowed to explore on the basis of a bone. Both young and old learn all about skeletons and bones. Instructive, but above all exciting and of course fun to do with your children.

In MergelRijk , young and old learn everything about caves and, as the name suggests:marl. This is an interactive outing, based on the following:look, do and taste.
