Taking part in the discus throwing event is the new challenge offered to families visiting Parc Astérix through Discobélix, the latest attraction inspired by the world of the comic strip "Asterix at the Olympic Games" by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.
First sensations from the queue crossing an imposing Greek temple:the mad disc launched by Obélix seems to graze the columns. We admire the decorations full of details. Then, we take a seat astride the imposing disc (10 meters in diameter) which advances while spinning on a ramp 80 meters above the lake before triggering the ignition of a flame at the top of the slope and to go back. We go back and forth swirling and above all laughing. Olympic feat or not, the Discobélix is already a success!
