In the Maldives, on the paradise island of Medhufaru, is the Soneva Jani hotel. Consisting of 57 luxurious villas and, for some, floating (just that!), this little corner of paradise enhanced by turquoise water and fine sand, is full of sumptuous treasures. One of them (downright cool) would certainly make any traveler happy. And for good reason, at Soneva Jani, it is possible to slide down a toboggan from your bed to the ocean! Did you say paradise?
How about we project ourselves a bit? In the early morning, after a sweet night lulled by the silence and the typical warmth of the virgin island of Medhufaru, hop neither one nor two we glide towards the ocean. The dream ! The slides have been designed to start from the first floor of the villa and end directly in the turquoise waters of the island of Medhufaru. Each villa built on stilts (we specify) has its own slide attached to it. Right in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the hotel has five residences where you can become the queen of skiing! It's a bit like a Disneyland (without the endless queue and the unfindable parking spaces) revisited version paradise on earth. And that's not all, Soneva Jani hides other treasures (and not the least):a few meters from the villas there are hammocks stretched just on the surface of turquoise blue water (we remember) and at 28 °C. What to curse indeed the traffic jams, the subway and the rain...
Only downside, you probably guessed it, booking a room at Soneva Jani costs several thousand euros. Well, will have to consider winning the Lotto before leaving!
