Weather conditions, especially the cold, often transform natural landscapes into enchanted places that seem straight out of a fairy tale. At the start of the year, the icy Niagara Falls offered tourists to the famous American site a breathtaking spectacle that was immortalized and shared on social networks for our greatest pleasure. It is indeed on our continent that the dream vision took place this time:the cold snap from Russia recently reached Wales (at the same time as France, difficult not to have it view pass, that one… Brrr), freezing in the process a famous waterfall on a mountain called Pen y Fan. The icy wind has indeed brought snow to the Brecon Beacons mountain range in the south of the country, where a natural waterfall seems to have frozen in time.
The flow gave way to rows of stalactites of all sizes that formed on several levels of the waterfall. The surface of the water is adorned with a white coat worthy of the universe of The Snow Queen . “The ice shone like diamonds in the sun “, “The icy shapes were amazing “, explain on Instagram the lucky few who were able to attend the show. We must admit that the pictures are infinitely pretty, but we can't wait to see spring arrive and the temperatures a little milder... Aren't you?
