Lovers of travel and unusual places should consider the Philippines as their next destination. The city of Tiaong, located two hours from the capital Manila, indeed hosts a breathtaking place under the sign of relaxation and wonder. This is the Labassin Waterfall Restaurant, the main attraction of the Villa Escudero tourist complex. As its name suggests, the restaurant has been set up at the foot of a majestic waterfall, which allows customers to savor delicious local dishes on bamboo tables while having their feet in the water. Did you say exotic?
If the abundant vegetation that makes up the idyllic setting is natural, the waterfall in question was designed by man. But this detail does not seem to bother the many visitors who even take the opportunity to cool off completely (the water is described as being "icy", take note of the bravest!) once the meal is over. Besides, how does the food get to the stoves of this extraordinary establishment? Quite “simply” in carts pulled by Asian buffaloes, also called river buffaloes. It's hard to get more exotic... We leave you with the superb shots of the place. Urgent desire to escape in 3, 2, 1...
