We are very proud of our capital, and for good reason:everyone would like to take their place! According to a study carried out by TripAdvisor, Paris is the winning destination in the world ranking of the most popular destinations! Despite a flagrant decline in tourism following the attacks that hit the City of Light in 2015, the most beautiful city in the world quickly rebounded and rose to first place on the podium.
On the scale of the top 10 (worldwide!) of our favorite destinations, it is Europe that is in the spotlight:since 7 out of 10 of the top destinations are European! In second place on the podium is London, and its mythical London Eye, and the bronze medal goes to the Italian capital, Rome, which is visited for its cultural heritage and … its pizzas! And on a French scale too, it is Paris that wins first place, ahead of Corsica, Nice, Lyon and then Bordeaux in fifth position. It makes you want to discover, or rediscover our dear capital!
