Ah the white sand, the turquoise water, the warmth of the sun on our skin... No need to go to the other side of the planet to be able to enjoy it:Corsica has 3 of the most beautiful beaches in France, according to TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Awards 2019. This year, Palombaggia beach in Porto-Vecchio tops the Top 10, dethroning Sillon beach in Saint-Malo, which therefore finds itself in 2nd place. The pure white sand, the transparent water, the umbrella pines and the pink rocks have seduced travelers (and we confirm, it is magnificent!). To make the most of it, TripAdvisor recommends going there in low season, or avoiding school holidays, because Palombaggia beach can sometimes be a victim of its own success. It is better to go there in the early morning, you could even watch the sunrise, while bathing in the warm Mediterranean water (what happiness!). And if it turns out that there are too many people when you want to go there, don't panic, because 2 other Corsican beaches are in this Top 10. First we have Saleccia beach in Saint Florent (in 5th place) and that of Petit Sperone in Bonifacio (7th place). Turquoise waters and white sand on the menu in both cases.
In 3rd and 4th place in this ranking, we find respectively the beach of the Basque Coast in Biarritz and the Hendaye Beach (in Hendaye as a result). Both on the magnificent Basque coast, they will delight surfing enthusiasts (and even Vincent Cassel validates the spot).
But the Mediterranean coast also has some beautiful beaches, especially on the French Riviera. Pampelone beach in Ramatuelle (6th place) and Escalet beach in Saint-Tropez (10th place) are perfect for perfecting our tan.
The north of France is also present in this Top 10:Le Touquet beach is in 8th place and Deauville beach in 9th. Two places where it is good to walk, whether in summer or winter.
And if you want to go to the other side of the world, here is a little advice:the most beautiful beach in the world is in Brazil, and it is the Baio do Sancho beach nicknamed the Wonderful. So we take our guide and our Portuguese / French dictionary and we jump on the next plane, destination idleness!
