Puerto de la Cruz
This is by far the nicest village on the island. Puerto de la Cruz is located on the north coast of the island, at the foot of the volcano. This picturesque village is surrounded by restaurants, gardens and swimming pools. This village doesn't sleep at night either, it's a great place to go for a walk!
Rocks
Los Gigantes is a beautiful village surrounded by impressive rock formations. From this village you can take various boat trips to various hotspots on the island. The whale watching tour is also highly recommended. During this trip you can admire whales, dolphins and other sea creatures up close.
Flea Market
In Santa Cruz de Tenerife there is a lively flea market every Sunday. This market is called 'Rastro' and is open every Sunday from 9am to 3pm. You will find handmade jewelry and other creations here, as well as antiques and other things that you find on the average flea market.
Playa del Duque
Do you need some relaxation? Then pay a visit to Playa del Duque. This beautiful beach is located on the south coast of the island and you can relax here. Stroll on the snow-white sandy beach, swim in the turquoise blue sea or relax on one of the many comfortable sunbeds.
