The spring break 2017 in the Netherlands is region specific. Primary and Secondary Education in the North region have spring break from Saturday 18 February to Sunday 26 February 2017. In the Central and South region, both Primary and Secondary Education have spring break 2017 from Saturday 25 February to Sunday 5 March 2017 .
Below you will find a number of selected outings with children for the upcoming spring break. Depending on which region your children are in, you can look at the available events. We will start with some general activities for both regions.
In the Limburgs Museum, the exhibition is 40 years of Playmobil. Take a journey through time and learn everything you've always wanted to know thanks to the all-time favorite toy Playmobil. There are also tables where children can let off steam and play by themselves. In short:plenty to see and do.

Youtube has become an indispensable part of youth and adults alike. The Let's Youtube event will be organized from October 7, 2016 to July 9, 2017. Children really learn everything about Youtube here:from history to making their own video. There is a different theme every month, making it a new outing every time.

During the spring break of the North region from Thursday 18 to Friday 24 February 2017, children can have a great time during the event On a barrel organ adventure with the organ man in Museum Speelklok, Utrecht. During the outing, children are taken on an interesting tour through the museum and are of course also allowed to operate the barrel organ.

Krokus Kriebels is a fun theater spectacle especially for the whole family, which will be held from Saturday 18 to Sunday 26 February 2017. Young and old will be entertained with exciting, crazy and funny performances. A nice outing during the upcoming spring break and something different than a cinema.

From Tuesday 21 February to Friday 24 February 2017, the Help Pake and Beppe de Vakantie event will be organized. More than 30 institutions in Friesland open their doors during the spring break to young visitors and their grandmothers, grandfathers, parents and anyone who wants to enjoy a nice outing. The best part is that children from 4 to 12 years old have free entrance, if they are accompanied by an adult (who does have to pay).

Who is not familiar with the fairy tale of the Bremen town musicians? From Saturday 25 February to Sunday 5 March 2017, the family performance De Bremer town musicians will be shown especially for all children. This is an adaptation of the 19th century fairy tale that tells the story of the donkey, the dog, the cat and the rooster. The performance lasts 45 minutes and is suitable for children aged 5+.

It's carnival in the country of Jan Klassen with the puppet show:Zotte Knarrebal. From Saturday 25 February to Sunday 5 March 2017 there is a lot to experience during an outing with children. Think of a special Knarre drink, face painting, polonaire and of course puppet show. Enjoy a whole day during the upcoming spring break.
