Meet &Ribs is a chain of three restaurants in Gelderland. You can find these restaurants in Arnhem, Nijmegen and Bemmel. The motto is:something for everyone, big or small appetite, an intimate dinner or an outing with colleagues. As far as the food is concerned, there is a menu to choose from, including delicious tapas dishes. Are you a meat lover? As mentioned, I had entered a competition and won a lunch at Meet &Ribs Arnhem. I love doing things with my daughter and took her with me to redeem the prize. Immediately upon entering we were warmly welcomed by the restaurant owner (no, he didn't know anything about our arrival). He served us that afternoon and made sure we had a delicious meal.
The lunch consisted of a bread board with different types of bread, various spreads (aioli, pesto nut spread, tomato salsa and garlic mayonnaise.). We could also choose from a chicken curry salad and tuna salad. To keep it a bit varied, we opted for both salads. In addition, we were given a choice of two types of soup (tomato soup and pea soup). We both chose tomato soup. If you eat everything you can choose 1 more dish from the tapas menu.
That was quite difficult because after the bread board we were actually quite full. Fortunately, we were well helped and made aware that we could also opt for a sweet dessert. Well, with two ice cream lovers, the choice is easily made:my daughter opted for dame blanche and I opted for a piece of apple pie with caramel ice cream.
The food was more than enough, actually just a bit too much for just the two of you and above all wonderfully fresh. The tapas menu is so extensive that it is almost impossible to make a choice. The service is top notch and the food is served in reasonable time. Highly recommended, my daughter agreed. Soon we will see if we can have dinner there.
