For my daughter's birthday we went to a restaurant with family. There we could enjoy delicious food at diner Twins in Arnhem. Extra cheap with Social Deal.
Your child only turns 18 once, so I wanted to celebrate that a little bigger than usual (okay, it's not her birthday yet, but next Thursday, August 8, is the day). We already went to café restaurant Twins in Arnhem last year and we liked the food and the whole atmosphere. So I decided to make a reservation there. Because we went with a large group, I bought cheap vouchers through Social Deal, so that all but one person could enjoy a 3-course dinner. The fact that one person could not enjoy the deal was actually a bit deliberate, since this was a child and I had my doubts whether he would be able to eat 3 courses.
Eetcafé Twins can be found in the heart of Arnhem, near the station. It is a small, but cozy restaurant where you can sit both inside and outside. Lovely to grab a terrace in the summer. The menu is very diverse and there is really something for everyone on the menu. Even if you are vegetarian, you can enjoy delicious food here.
Themed days are organized weekly, including Ladies night on Wednesday evening, Monday and Tuesday eating unlimited tapas for € 17.00 and every Sunday 1 child up to 12 years old can eat for free (1 child per parent). They also have a Social Deal menu, which you can also order separately as a 3-course dinner and a 4-course dinner.
As mentioned, last Saturday we went to eatery Twins with a group of family members. The table was reserved via Social Deal and 1 extra person was no problem. Because I had vouchers we could choose from the menu for a 3-course dinner. The choice was very extensive and everyone found something to his/her taste.
At the end of the dinner that lasted more than 2.5 hours due to all the chatter and enjoyment, everyone unanimously agreed that it was a great success. The food was delicious and more than enough. It was even said that from then on this would be the restaurant where everyone could go to. That indicates that it was liked. Initially only 2 tables inside were occupied but after 7pm the whole ground floor was occupied. Fortunately, the restaurant has an upper floor where new guests could sit down at an empty table.
Thanks to Social Deal vouchers I paid € 13.50 per person for the vouchers and then something extra for 1 person who ate from the card. In addition, of course everyone took a drink (a lot of bottles), but all in all the evening for 9 people only cost 180 Euros including tip. That is quite a reasonable amount if you consider that we received an extensive 3-course dinner for this and everyone drank at least 2 drinks.
