For those who stay in the Netherlands this summer, or just like to enjoy fun outings in the weekend… This GPS tour with Renzy is certainly qualified as a topper. At least when I read the experiences of others 😉 . I can't speak for myself about it yet, but it won't be long. Because we are also going to take a ride with our family (of 3 hours!) in an electric car from Renzy. Soon I will be able to tell you a lot more about it and then I will certainly continue to add to this blog! But I would also like to inform you about Renzy and share the cool giveaway with you!

It may sound a bit disparaging, 'cars', but nothing could be further from the truth. They look fantastic, those 2-person Renault Twizies that are also very environmentally friendly.
It is a fact that during such a cool family outing you get a lot of attention during your day out. Besides the unique model, the Renault Twizy has an army green print and the bright orange lettering also attracts plenty of attention. Not that you drive the GPS tour for the amount of attention of course, but don't say I didn't warn you.
Touring with Renzy means that you will explore the South Holland landscape in an electric car that can accommodate 2 people. Are you going on a trip with your family? Then you need 2 Twizies if there are four of you. Since the Twizy is an open car, you will experience South Holland in your own unique way during this environmentally friendly car ride.
Tour all the hotspots and explore the beautiful Bollenstreek, the long sandy beaches, or the windmills and castles that you come across. This way, holiday in your own country just becomes a party! In addition, touring with Renzy simply fits within 'the new normal' and it is completely Coronaproof. Good to know.
There are a number of different tours that you can drive with the electric Renault Twizy from Renzy:
As said, we will soon be riding Renzy's family tour. Cozy with the four of you in the electric Renault Twizies through the dunes. Afterwards we will have a nice bite to eat. Do you have any suggestions for us in the vicinity of Lisse or Noordwijk, let me know! I've already heard that the Tulum and Witsand shacks are worth a visit, but who knows, maybe you'll have something even better.
Update:August 2020
We have now also ridden the tour ourselves and I can tell you exactly what we thought of it. We were on the road early, because we had to be in Lisse at 09.30 for 'the kick-off'. Dennis received us with great enthusiasm and after the necessary explanation about the Renault Renzy and how the route works, we are on our way.
Lotte steps in the back with Frank and Luc with me… so he can lose his long legs a little better 😉 . The kids are both given a walkie-talkie so that they can communicate with each other about the assignments they can do along the way. Awesome! Because even though I thought that our teenager in particular would be a bit old for the quest, nothing turns out to be less true. He participates fanatically in all assignments.
While I hear Luc's cackling through the walkie-talkie with his sister, I whiz through South Holland after Frank in the Twizy. Renzy has ensured that the entire route can be clearly driven via navigation. This navigation is programmed on the 'bicycle route' so that you do not accidentally end up on the highway, which is handy. But I find it even more convenient to follow Frank nicely. That way I have some time left to look around me, instead of paying attention to the route.
We get out a few times and of course we go for a drink in a beach tent during this GPS route with Renzy. By the way, you have plenty of time for that, because even if you can go on the road for three hours, you actually drive well over an hour. After the 3-hour activity I secretly regret that we are back. The trip through the dunes and along the boulevard was fantastic, what a beautiful environment here!
The big advantage of the treasure hunt is that your children have a very nice activity. Sightseeing alone may be less appealing to them, but this activity immediately makes it a fun challenge. The audio tour is GPS-controlled, so exactly when you drive past something special, the corresponding explanation follows. Super handy.
For myself, I also feel that I was running out of time. I would have loved to have looked around more. We had fantastic weather, not too hot and yet dry. Very nice driving. So next year only one more time!
Below is a small impression from the Renzy itself.
