For many of us, packing can be a real source of stress before leaving on vacation. We were all anxious before the start because we have too many things to think about, so we make lists that we end up losing and we leave with the unpleasant feeling of having forgotten something... We will finally be able to go on vacation serenely with the PackR application, which (almost) packs our bags for us.
The application allows you to prepare for your trip by offering lists of things to take. It is enough to indicate the destination, the duration of the trip, the type of accommodation, the means of transport and the activities that we intend to do during our vacation. From this initial information, the application will offer us lists of everything we will need, which we just have to follow to fill our suitcases. The lists change according to all these parameters, but also the weather, and show us the essential elements not to forget. If you have planned a weekend hike in Provence, you will need your walking shoes, sports gear and sunglasses, but also sunscreen and a first aid kit. All you have to do is pack your suitcase!
The application offers basic lists with the bare minimum, to which we can then add what is personal to us (everyone adjusts according to these habits). PackR allows you to already have a good base to be able to pack your suitcase serenely and make you think of essential things that you could have forgotten such as your contact lens product, your pill, your passport, etc. Depending on the duration of the trip and the weather, the list of clothing and especially the quantity adapt. For example, for a 28-day stay in Bali (we can always dream…), the application suggests bringing 15 pairs of socks, 5 swimsuits, 4 pairs of shoes… and not 10 as we would have tended to do it ! PackR suddenly avoids taking too much and ending up with several business suitcases "just in case"... In addition, the more we use the application, the more it offers us personalized and adapted lists compared to what we took on our previous trips.
The application is free and available on the Apple Store, and in the fall on Google Play. There is a premium pack at €4.60 without ads which allows you to create completely customizable and reusable lists for other trips. In fact, it's the app that thinks for us and allows you to de-stress while being sure that you haven't forgotten anything! All you have to do is book your next trip!
