With summer comes the desire for fresh air and nights under the stars... but not always the discomfort that goes with the practice. This is why a Swiss hotel offers to find the equipment of a traditional room while being able to observe the sky at different times of the day. How is this possible, you ask? Well by placing the double bed and the bedside tables in question in the heart of the natural landscapes of the canton of Graubünden, located in the east of the country! The Null Stern Hotel's open-air suite rises almost 2,000 meters above sea level and is surrounded by sublime mountains that offer breathtaking views. The experience is very tempting, but it is imperative to have a plan B:the reservation of the little romantic weekend can be canceled at any time due to unfavorable weather conditions. Indeed, there is not really a place to take shelter...
Exceptional setting obliges, customers have to deal with facilities that are less accessible than usual:the toilets and the shower are for example 10 minutes away on foot, so we cannot recommend too much to make arrangements in advance. This small downside is compensated by the services of a butler, who takes care of the reception and brings a snack and coffee when you get up. Regal! The origin of this room without walls and ceiling, the Swiss brothers and conceptual artists Frank and Patrik Riklin, who expressed their desire to establish other open-air suites across the country, as reported the Metro website . The price for the night is 200 €, but it's still more practical than spending your time with half your body out of the tent to admire the surrounding space... And then it's romantic as you wish!
So, are you tempted by the experience?
