The holidays are that great time when you allow yourself to sleep in (shamefully long), where you take things on the bright side and above all where you relax. So why should we, at the start of the school year, say goodbye to our positive attitude and to all our good resolutions? Here are 4 tips to prolong the benefits of the holidays…
Summer is synonymous with departures with friends, late barbecues and unlimited cocktails! Our advice n°1:take advantage of the last beautiful days to invite our friends to have an aperitif on the terrace. The opportunity to get together, outdoors, and to remember our most beautiful visits. But summer is not just about aperitifs, it's also about small culinary pleasures. So as long as it's in season, we love:olives, aioli, tapas... so many flavors that will remind us of the sun!
Returning to work also means resuming a rhythm to which our body is no longer used. So, let's take it easy! We refuse overtime and waking up at 5 a.m. The evening ? Turn off your phone to avoid over-connectivity and favor calm and relaxing activities such as reading.
The holidays are the time when we do all those little things that make us happy and that we had put aside for lack of time. We resume sport, we finish season 7 of Game of Thrones and we finally test this trendy detox drink. The problem ? At the start of the school year, the temptation is strong to drop everything. So this year, it doesn't matter whether we've decided to take up knitting, badminton or seashell painting:we're sticking to our good resolutions!
Christmas is only 4 months away! A romantic chalet in the mountains, a visit to our Bordeaux family or even a trip abroad… we are starting to organize ourselves, it is for morale! Having a plan for future vacations helps us to have a positive start to the new school year and to clear our minds. The good idea? We are already booking our tickets to save and take advantage of low prices. Or we are definitely considering an off-season vacation...
With all this one thing is certain, our return to school will not be bland! Good recovery!
