Ice structures are popular in the middle of winter. After the frozen hotel that pays homage to the series Game of Thrones in Finland, it is the largest snow labyrinth in the world located in Poland which delights the local population and tourists (and here, for once, we are thinking more of the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire !). The impressive construction is part of the Snowlandia Zakopane game park which, as its name suggests, is located in the ski resort of Zakopane in the south of the country. It covers 2,500 square meters and offers young and old alike several tens of minutes (if you are doing well!) of fun with family or friends.
Everything has been planned to make access to the exit not very obvious:the rigid walls made of snow and ice rise over more than 2 meters, which prevents you from having an overview of the entire maze (unless your girlfriend agrees to give you the short ladder after 5 hours of active research). The park is full of many other activities such as toboggans to be descended in groups, toboggan runs, medieval shows and a “zoo” part where ibexes and high-altitude birds are exhibited. Of course, all these attractions are ephemeral so you have to consider a visit quickly if the place caught your eye… And for those who are lucky enough to go skiing soon, we wish you a good holiday in advance!
