In this quest for the perfect place for the holidays, the online travel comparator Kayak.fr has analyzed the requests of its users to establish the top 10 of the most popular destinations for the French for the summer of 2021 .
This summer, it seems that the French want to fly to warm countries, where the sun and the dream spots for swimming are at the rendezvous. According to the Kayak travel tool and flight searches carried out between June 7 and 21, the top destination is the city of Casablanca , nicknamed the "white city", in Morocco. This African country is full of picturesque cultural and natural sites where it is good to go.
The "red city" follows Marrakech , the medina Fez listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981 and Oujda near the Algerian border. Spain appears in the ranking with Barcelona andPalma de Mallorca . We also find in seventh place one of the largest coastal cities in Portugal , Lisbon . In last place, it's Malta and more specifically to Luqa , a charming and very quiet locality, which the French want to put down their suitcases.
