Like all hipsters, head for the former Browar Mieszczanski brewery (ul. Hubska 44). Every Sunday, a market of small producers allows you to taste local specialties (such as borsch) or opt for a zapiekanki. A what ? A warm slice of bread covered with cheese, mushrooms, pickles… Street food from the 80s and 90s, this slice of bread is making quite a comeback, surfing on a retro-nostalgic wave. The old brick brewery sometimes hosts exhibitions and fashion events. Then, we take refuge in an air-raid shelter! This curvaceous space has been transformed into a museum of contemporary art with a café on the roof. Unfortunately, despite the year of the European Capital of Culture, the museum's subsidies have been cut by the current government, which only intends to promote the "good" national heritage. Back to the days of censorship? Enjoy the programming now!
