The prestigious airline Qatar Airways has planned to innovate once:it announced at the first tourism trade fair in Berlin the very imminent arrival of double rooms in its planes. The innovation will be called Q Suite, and will only be available for first class passengers (this is where we find it less cool…). This cabin will consist of 4 seats placed face to face, convertible thanks to a folding system into 2 large sleeping bags. The walls used to close the room will come down from the ceiling at the request of the travelers, so that they have some privacy.
Qatar Airways is already reviewing the configuration of its Boeing 777, A350 and A380 aircraft to allow these spaces to be accommodated. The company has scheduled the first flight to offer double rooms to be a Doha/London in June 2017. By the end of summer 2017, long-haul Doha/Paris and Paris/New York flights should all have this innovation. Already voted "best business class in the world" in 2016 by the specialized organization Skytrax, Qatar Airways, which is considered one of the most innovative companies in terms of air services, proves once again that it is totally the cutting edge of technology with this project. We hope you can enjoy it!
