The swimming pools are facilities that make you dream:their translucent and turquoise blue water is reminiscent of tropical coastlines and arouses holiday desires. Architects who have fully understood the seductive potential of these artificial pools compete in imagination to put in place ever more impressive creations. After the largest swimming pool in the world in Chile (it looks more like a lake) and the one suspended in the city center in Houston, Texas, it is another construction that is attracting Internet users. And for good reason, the swimming pool owned by the Edge Resort complex in Bali is not only located in a dream setting by the sea, but above all it is suspended on the edge of the Uluwatu cliff, 150 meters above the empty ! And its bottom is made of glass, of course, otherwise it's much less funny... Acrophobes abstain!
The hotel complex consists of several villas, trendy bars, upscale restaurants and two enormous swimming pools, including the one that concerns us. Only a part exceeds the cliff by several meters in order to offer the very wealthy customers a full view of the sea which comes to rest against the rocks below. It’s as impressive… as creepy, you have to admit. But visitors do not seem to be bothered by the challenge:many even take their breakfast there with the Indian Ocean as far as the eye can see. If you want to spend a night in this superb place, you will have to pay the modest sum of 790 euros for one night. We'll let you think... We, in the meantime, are going to dream about our next vacation... Ah, it's feeling better right away!
