Holidays with friends require preparation, and the choice of destination is pri-mor-dial... To help us, HostelWorld (the youth hostel booking site) conducted a survey of 4,000 people who had traveled to 41 different cities, to know the best cities to party! So, which destination should you choose to frequent the most beautiful clubs, discover the best neighborhoods and party until the end at night? Here are the 10 winning cities, and it's not necessarily the ones you think.
To establish this ranking, HostelWorld relied on many criteria, including the quality of party venues, the number of things to do, but also security, the general cost of living and the openness of the population (because that too is important). And the big winner of this ranking is… Hamburg! And for good reason:the second largest city in Germany, it is very cosmopolitan and attracts many highly motivated international students. In second place, we find Copenhagen (Denmark), followed by Berlin, which has many nightclubs, concert halls and festivals to discover, then Dublin (Ireland). Amsterdam (Netherlands) ranks 5th (everyone spontaneously thinks of coffee shops, but the Dutch capital offers so much more!), then San Francisco (USA), Gothenburg (Sweden), Prague (Czech Republic) and Warsaw (Poland). Finally, New York (United States) closes the ranking. And Paris in all this? We assume that the overall cost of living in the French capital has not worked in her favor, and she therefore does not find herself in the rankings... We hope to do better next year!
