The summer holidays have already started for part of the Netherlands, which means that many people will leave for their summer destination in the coming weeks. Although two-thirds of all holidaymakers have been looking forward to it for weeks, the journey to the holiday destination causes a lot of irritation. Dirty toilets, traffic jams and delays bother the traveler the most. It is striking that only a few are concerned about poor range or a draining battery of a tablet or smartphone.
Even at our destination, we don't seem to care about our online accessibility. Only 2% consider the presence of WiFi to be an indispensable element for a successful holiday; with dot on 1 is a beautiful environment (45%). The summer holidays mean ultimate relaxation:we have 'time for each other', we eat a lot, we don't pay much attention to our expenses, leave sports for what it is and gain an average of 1-3 kilos. Preparing for the trip
Only 1 in ten Dutch people experience packing stress before the holiday; we also have little or no lists in our house. Two thirds have been anticipating for weeks and one tenth checks the weather at their destination every day. The lady of the house packs all the suitcases for a quarter of the Dutch. The man of the house only does this in 3% of all cases for the whole family.
