Cruiseferry company DFDS celebrates its 150th anniversary with the construction of the largest Lego ship ever! With the help of 7,000 employees and more than a million LEGO bricks, they set the world record for the 'largest Lego ship ever' in the Guinness Book of World Records. The ship, christened Jubilee Seaways, is currently on a European tour. From 11 to 24 October, Jubilee Seaways will also be on display in the Netherlands, including during the special School Tour and Lego World in Utrecht.
The imposing ship is twelve meters long, three meters high and weighs almost three tons. In total, 7,000 DFDS employees spent 900 hours building Jubilee Seaways. On October 11, the Lego ship will arrive in IJmuiden, from where he will make a School Tour along various primary schools until October 14.
